Book 10: I would like to have about nine meanings in life, and it is these nine meanings in life that change and fluctuate.

 Hello. I'm Ten Watanabe.

The theme of this time is about living. I think that living means eating and walking. For me, eating and walking are the most important tasks in life.

Why do humans live? It's a grand question. I still haven't found a clear answer. Perhaps each person has something like a purpose for living, but I too am just living my life vaguely. Eating and walking are very important themes in this great theme of life.

Eating is a fleeting experience. Even if you feel very satisfied at the time of eating, a few hours after you finish eating, you will probably forget most of the taste. You will probably be more interested in your next meal than in what it tasted like.

On the other hand, walking does not happen in an instant. It requires muscle strength. By walking, you convert the energy you eat into power and move forward steadily. For me, walking is not just about vaguely completing the task of walking; it has a strong tendency to build up, such as thinking about which route to take next, or how spectacular the scenery around me is.

Walking is like stocking up on energy. It can help you lose weight and shed excess fat, and it's also a healthy way to build muscle and wake up easier the next morning. However, that doesn't mean that eating is bad; it depends on the case.

Even if eating is only a momentary act, it can make you feel full until your next meal and leave you feeling very satisfied. The accumulation of these experiences is what makes up our lives as human beings.

I believe that life is a complex web of elements. Many people believe that they can achieve something by living, and some even believe in an afterlife. I have had many different experiences, and I am very grateful for them. When it comes to food, I have fasted for about two weeks, consuming only liquids, and I have also had some very delicious lunches at fancy restaurants.

Humans, or any living thing, are fascinating creatures; we live through a series of moments. Cooking a meal is only a fleeting moment in our lives, but many people find meaning in these moments. In other words, they find meaning in life by eating a warm, delicious meal.

I think it's okay for life to have many different meanings. I've now achieved the meaning of my life I had a while ago. That meaning is a trade secret, but for someone like me who lives vaguely and sees many different meanings in life, or who can't decide on one meaning in life, living seems like a very difficult thing to understand.

I also like walking, and I have walked long distances. Of course, walking is not my life's purpose, but I have walked so much that the skin on my feet has become thick. My feet have become elastic, just like the paw pads of a dog or cat. The skin on my feet has become thick.

Now I can understand that even the paws of dogs and cats have thick paws that have been genetically trained and developed by constantly walking on all fours and always having to choose between walking on all fours or lying down. I've also walked long distances over the past five years. I've seen many different landscapes and walked around inside buildings.

If I were to have a religion, the first three tenets would be to live, eat, and walk. I understand that these three are closely related and inseparable. However, people with disabilities have additional restrictions on their walking, such as using a cane or using a wheelchair.

They probably spend most of their time indoors, but given their limitations on walking, it can be assumed that living indoors means a lot to them.

We often hear people say to take good care of their teeth, and while they are important for eating, taking good care of your feet will also enable you to walk a long distance in life. For me, I desire to have about nine meanings in life, but it is these nine meanings in life that will change and fluctuate. I see this as the nine elements, and the meaning of life that turns into hardship.

For me, life, or living, has nine meanings. What do you seek as the meaning of life? If there is one thing I cannot compromise on, it is that I wish to be able to take a warm bath at any time. That's all. Thank you for your growth. This was Watanabe Ten.

Book 9. If you read long sentences separated by slashes, they will come to mind more easily.

Hello. Today's theme is to use slashes to read difficult sentences. I'm currently reading a textbook for the first-level accounting bookkeeping exam, and it's very difficult, so I tried using a technique commonly used in English: using slashes in sentences. (lol)

By doing this, that knowledge started to sink into my head. It's amazing. When I was a student, I learned how to insert slashes into English sentences to separate them into smaller sections for reading, but that only applied to English sentences, not Japanese sentences. Yay! Slash reading!!

When I was studying the textbook for the first-grade bookkeeping exam recently, the textbook had difficult sentences, so I found that by dividing long sentences with slashes while reading, it became easier to understand. That's right. Descartes said in his book, "Divide the difficulty," and by dividing long, difficult sentences into smaller parts and reading them, I was able to spend my time very meaningfully.

In other words, I've been able to spend my time with good value for money. Great value for money!! I have a method of writing ideas and other things in my textbooks, and when I read them for the second time because they are full of notes, I can clearly see what points I was concerned about the last time I read them. I'll analyze it! Ding!

I once saw a news report that even billionaires practice the method of writing down ideas in a notebook. They write all over textbooks. That's right. There should be an endless supply of ideas. If you take a detailed look at the ideas that pop into your head by chance, and give them a date, you'll be able to remember what you were thinking at the time. Reflection!!

Even with this blog alone, I record the details of my daily life in a notebook, focusing on themes. Log-log. Recently, a study method I'd like to adopt is to use slashes to separate sentences that are difficult to understand. In particular, the textbook I use for my first-grade bookkeeping exam is a handy one, small enough to hold in one hand, but the content is difficult, so I like to use slashes to separate sentences as I read.

The content I read after the slash marks is purely for study purposes, and I don't need to obtain any qualifications, so it's just study. However, I would like to write down any questions or discoveries I have while reading, date them, and turn the textbook into an idea book. The treasure trove of ideas!

I also used to keep a diary, and I would simply copy down the questions and ideas I had written in my textbooks and notebooks into this diary. These days, I write articles of 1,500 characters, whereas before I would write 3,000 characters, but even writing 1,500 character articles is difficult if you're not used to it. It really is the law of inertia. The first few steps are important.

I would like to aim for my blog posts to be around 1500 characters long. Until now, I have used my own experiences and memorable knowledge as reference material, but I would like to write more academic articles, especially articles more like those of a science writer.

As a science writer, I would like to start by writing about medicine. I don't intend to write about anything that constitutes medical treatment, so please use this as just one science writer's opinion and use it as a reference. If you use this as a reference and want to create other creative works, please let me know in the comments section.

Of course, there are copyright issues, so I intend to start from scratch and express the knowledge I have in my head in my own words. Please look forward to it. That's all. Thank you for listening. This is Watanabe Ten.

Book 8. I want you to take good care of your teeth. I have a few silver fillings, so I'd like to offer some advice.

Hello. My name is Ten Watanabe. I've recently been reading the works of Tenpuku Nakamura, and I learned that "the thoughts in the human mind create everything in life." Human thoughts are fascinating, and we can live the life we envision.

Control your life. Or, speaking of controlling your life, the maximum lifespan of humans on Earth is currently (2025) about 120 years. Living past 120 years is a wonderful innovation, but even in postwar Japan, average lifespan has been increasing for several decades, and is now around 90 years old for both men and women.

Given the average age, more than half of humanity will be able to live into their 70s and 80s, but the question of whether we want to live with an aging body lingers in the back of our minds. If we had the appearance and mental age of a young person in their 20s, we might want to live longer, but our aging bodies are very fragile.

I have a cavity and have a silver filling, but I don't know if even this silver filling will last for decades after treatment. Take care of your teeth. Celebrities say that teeth are their life, but if you don't have good teeth as you get older, you will miss out on many pleasures.

Even if the maximum age were to increase to 200 or 300 years, there would still be parts of the body and organs that would not function properly. Even if the average life expectancy in Japan were around 90 years, if you had cancer or back pain, you would not be able to live a satisfying life. I'm still in the young age group, so I think that once my permanent teeth grow in again, I'll be able to enjoy a long life.

Regarding silver fillings, I am currently thinking that milk may be able to cure cavities. There are diseases such as hypercalcemia, but I think that people today are not getting enough calcium. If you drink milk or calcium-rich drinks, you can avoid cavities and lead a healthy life.

Life is fleeting. Professor Nakamura states in his writings that everything in life is made up of thoughts, but life is also shaped by our daily habits. There is a saying that "you are what you eat," but I believe that everything in life is made up of food, especially healthy food.

As someone with several silver fillings, I would like to offer some advice: take good care of your teeth, which are the gateway to your diet. Everything in life is made up of your thoughts and the food you eat. I hope you take good care of your teeth, which are the gateway to your diet. To do this, calcium is essential.

To sum up what I've said today, this is my conclusion, but I'm still in the process of reading Professor Nakamura's works, so I'll let you know if I have any further updates. That's all. Thank you for listening. This was Watanabe Ten.

第26冊。僕はステレオタイプとはより良きものであり、使い方によっては新しい発見の土台となる面白いことだと思います。I think stereotypes are a good thing, and depending on how they are used, they can be interesting and be as the basis for new discoveries

Book 7. Asking a store clerk can help you hone your fashion sense, but inner character and culture are things that are built up over a long period of time.

Hello. I'm Watanabe Ten. The theme of this post is that it doesn't take much time to polish your appearance (design). Shaping your appearance is important. There are books out there that claim that appearance is 90% of what matters, so I think the importance of appearance is a very important element.

Just as people judge others by their appearance, there are certain fashions and makeup styles that are appropriate for certain situations and environments. If you wear clothes that are out of place, you may be looked down upon and not be able to join in with the group. It can be very awkward to be the only one dressed casually when everyone else is dressed formally.

If everyone else is wearing a suit and you're the only one wearing a T-shirt and jeans, you might wonder if you're the president of a venture company. But if you think about it, fashion and makeup are easy to imitate.

When it comes to fashion, the outfits worn by the mannequins in front of the store as soon as you enter, and the clothes displayed on the shelves that catch your eye first, are the best-selling, stylish clothes. Of course, there are many different fashion shops, but you can also create your own unique and original fashion by combining clothes sold in a single store with other fashion brands.

It's easy to look stylish and fashionable. If you go to a department store, the sales staff will be able to teach you about makeup. That's right. Fashion can be easily changed. Of course, it's a different story if the best-selling outfits are on display in the store and they match your character and personality.

However, it is not easy to change internally. Of course, there will be events that trigger a complete change in values and environment. However, most people live relatively stable lives, with everyday life being a continuation of the usual routine.

Some people's lives may be full of ups and downs like a roller coaster, but if you want to change someone's inner self, you have no choice but to spend time changing everything from their personality to everything else. Even when it comes to studying, it takes a long period of education, from entering elementary school to graduating from high school and working, or graduating from university, to become a person who can function in society, and it takes a long period of education, over a dozen years.

Simply put, if you ask the staff at each store for advice on your appearance, fashion, and makeup, your fashion sense will naturally improve. At first, just follow the staff's advice and dress in the fashion they recommend.

If you want to go beyond that and improve your inner self, in the case of fashion, you might be able to improve your sense of fashion in six months by listening to the advice of a store clerk, but inner character and culture are things that are built up over a long period of time. They cannot be changed overnight.

I know that it's easy to improve your appearance, but your inner self takes a long time to build up. I'm not a big shot, but I can tell which clothes are selling by walking around the store. You can rely on your intuition and buy with confidence what you think is cool if you're a man, or what you think is cute if you're a woman.

Even with makeup, these days (2025), more and more men are wearing it, and if you ask a store clerk, they'll recommend the makeup that's right for you. All you have to do is buy and try out different cosmetics and clothes, and your sense of fashion and appearance will improve.

However, anyone who has bought clothes for a while will understand that even if you try to pick the best parts from various brands, in the end you will probably end up settling on the conservative, casual clothes worn by supermodels from high-end fashion brands.

Of course, if you want to stand out from the crowd with your fashion, you can also wear a combination of multiple fashion brands. If you pursue classic casual style, you can settle on high-end brands, but you can also go beyond that and stand out from the crowd with unique fashion.

That's all for today, but while it's easy to improve your appearance, it's your inner self that has invisible value, so I hope you will study and hone your skills. That's all. This was Watanabe Ten.

(*P.S.) The difference between what is visible and what is invisible

Book 6: Commonalities and analogies - with just a little ingenuity, science and learning can create a new civilization.

Hello. I'm Watanabe Ten. This time, I'd like to talk about the topic of science, which is not good at making analogies or finding common ground. When I say science, I don't mean all academic disciplines. There are many academic disciplines, from the art of ruling to the art of living in society.

For me, the most important academic field is economics. Economics is a field of study related to money, but if used well, it is almost always a meaningful field when starting a business or making an investment.

In addition to its significance, economics is both a science and a humanities subject. It is a science in the sense that it uses mathematical formulas, but it is also a humanities subject in the sense that it does not end with proving mathematical formulas in writing. In other words, if you study economics first, it will be an entry point into both the science and the humanities.

I don't think that economics is a discipline for making money. Of course, economics provides the minimum knowledge necessary to make money, but more than that, economics provides many ideas as a philosophy.

You've probably heard of conservatives and progressives, or right-wing and left-wing. Political news is full of articles about topics that divide the right and left. I call myself more of a center-left because I value being progressive. Even more so, right-wing conservatives are important.

Right-wing conservatism refers to the foundations built by our predecessors, such as tradition and culture. If society is comfortable today, it is because of the foundations built by our predecessors. However, society will never improve based on right-wing conservatism alone.

In economics, there is a concept called Pareto optimum. Its definition means that no one loses and everyone gains. I believe that both the right and the left are important, and that 80% should remain conservative and 20% should be innovative and new.

However, some people may not be able to accept this new, innovative reality. Of course, innovations are still in the experimental stage, so we need to judge whether they are correct in the long run. What's more, there is a risk that the elderly and the elderly may be left behind in the new reality.

When science and learning advances rapidly, some people are left behind. This is because science can change dramatically with just a little ingenuity. At the very least, science can create not only a new culture but even a new civilization by simply drawing commonalities and analogies.

Find commonalities and make inferences. With this little ingenuity, science and academia can create a new civilization. That's all I have to say. That's all. Thank you for listening. This was Watanabe Ten.

Book 5: Art is a process, write with intuition and correct with reason!

Hello. I'm Ten Watanabe.

Art is a collection of processes. In the world of art, a masterpiece that shaped an era is born every few decades, but it is clear that the process of creating that masterpiece was based on the many processes of its predecessors.

Even if a masterpiece that adorns an era is born, it is only one step, a process. That's right. Even a work of art that defines an era is merely a passing point for future generations. Of course.

If you've ever tried to fortify a piece of art, whether it be songwriting or novel-writing, you know that it can be hard to come up with an idea. It takes time to get the first stroke, but once you start writing, you'll find that the process becomes surprisingly easy, almost like the law of inertia. Just try writing for five minutes.

I believe that a work of art is both a process and something that should be written with sensitivity or intuition. Many painters and novelists, and by artists I mean writers and painters who created an era (no, I'm not talking about me, lol). However, they can also be considered pioneers who opened up new genres through their artwork.

It is precisely because they created new expressive powers as art that these great masters are great teachers who produced masterpieces in their respective genres that will go down in history.

I am writing this piece based on my intuition. I am one of those people who write normally, but I am currently writing this piece based on my intuition. You may have heard the expression that ideas fall from the sky. In fact, art may be a kind of impulse.

Art as art is the expression of the writer's impulse. However, there is one problem. If art is created simply on impulse, readers and viewers may perceive it as an unknown, mysterious thing that they cannot understand. For us, it is this mysterious, unknown thing that is the value of art.

Unlike my great predecessors, I am just an ordinary writer, but as an artist I have one opinion: that is, art is art, but I believe that each and every one of those forgotten works was an important milestone for future generations.

Although I wrote this article in a messy manner, I will safely revise this sentence, which I wrote intuitively, using reason. Yes. I have corrected it. Okay!! Writing impulsively based on emotion is not coherent, so I will revise it rationally and rewrite it into a coherent, logical sentence.

This is a story about my original, self-taught method, but it's something I'm very satisfied with even when I read it again later. Art is a process related to art for future generations, and at the same time, it's something that is written intuitively, and in my case, I also make further corrections with reason, but I interpret art as something like that.

That's all. Thank you for listening. This is just my opinion, written in the usual way. This is Watanabe Ten.

(P.S.) 1. I'm going to buy a mirror at Kirindo. 2. Did medicine become the first academic field? So, is that why doctors and doctorates are both doctors?

Book 29. A person who is a manager. What is its purpose? It is the purpose of management to keep asking this question.

Hello. β (beta). This time, I would like to write about the profession of manager. When you think of a manager, you may think of a middle m...
